Icelandic Production Company Act4 Adapts Hildur Knútsdóttir's "Dead Weight"

Iceland’s Act4, co-led by actor and producer Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, is collaborating with director Kari Skogland to adapt the novel "Dead Weight" by Hildur Knútsdóttir into a feature film. Skogland, known for her work on acclaimed series such as "The Handmaid’s Tale" and "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," has secured the screen rights alongside Act4. The adaptation is positioned as a dark psychological thriller, reflecting Knútsdóttir's reputation for chilling horror fiction.
