E. Jean Carroll Documentary "Ask E. Jean" Set for Theatrical Release

Abramorama has acquired the U.S. theatrical rights to "Ask E. Jean," a documentary centered on E. Jean Carroll, an advice columnist and journalist known for her legal battles against former President Donald Trump. The film, directed by Ivy Meeropol, premiered at the 2025 Telluride Film Festival, where concerns arose among distributors about potential backlash from the Trump administration. The documentary is scheduled to screen at the IFC Center in New York on May 22 and in Los Angeles on May 29, with plans for additional screenings in other cities.
