Sidhu Promotes Trade Agreement

Canada's Minister of International Trade, Maninder Sidhu, announced progress toward a digital trade agreement among Canada, the European Union, and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership on March 27.
The proposed pact could unite 1.6 billion people and US$35 trillion in economies.
Sidhu described the potential agreement as possibly the largest trading agreement in history.
The deal will focus on e-commerce and data flows to outline its structure.
