Brandy: A Journey Through Music and Acting

Brandy Norwood, known simply as Brandy, began her journey in McComb, Mississippi, as the daughter of a choir director. She discovered her passion for singing at the age of two while performing in church. Brandy honed her vocal skills at the Hollywood High Performing Arts Center and gained early exposure to the music industry by singing backup for the R&B group Immature. At just 14 years old, she signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records, leading to the release of her self-titled debut album in 1994.
