Arik, a seller of religious books, noted, “I know that life has come to a standstill in other parts of Jerusalem, but here, life continues as usual.” While many businesses across Israel faced economic challenges due to travel restrictions and fears of missile attacks, local demand in these neighborhoods remained strong, allowing shops to operate normally.
