Ponnachan Charged Assault

Sandhu Ponnachan appeared in Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on charges including grievous bodily harm and bladed-article possession.
The March 28 incident involved a Suzuki Swift mounting pavement outside Bishop Blaise pub, injuring seven.
Four victims have been discharged from hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Ponnachan is remanded in custody until April 29 for the next court appearance.
