Major Drug Trafficking Crackdown in Bengaluru

In a significant operation against drug trafficking, Bengaluru police arrested 11 individuals, including two foreigners, following a series of coordinated raids across the city. The operation, which involved multiple police teams from various localities, resulted in the seizure of substantial quantities of illegal narcotics, including 2 kg 7 grams of MDMA, 31 kg 396 grams of ganja, 220 grams of hydro ganja, and 162 grams of heroin. The total estimated value of the confiscated drugs is INR2.57 crore, with a potential market value of approximately INR5.14 crore, according to Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh.
