Yang Haoliang, vice-president of CAS Space, indicated that the Kinetica-2's non-reusable launch costs are comparable to those of the Falcon 9, and future reusability could further reduce costs, potentially making it half the price of SpaceX's offering.

Technical Innovations

The Kinetica-2 features a modular design that allows for adjustments in carrying capacity by adding or removing side boosters. This design aims to enhance reliability and reduce manufacturing costs.
