Rising Funeral Costs in the UK Amid Iran Conflict

A recent report by Pure Cremation indicates that the average cost of a traditional funeral in Britain has risen to £4,623, marking a 1.3% increase since January 2026. The average cremation now costs £4,293, reflecting a 1.4% increase, while burial costs have also seen a rise to £6,129, up by 1%.
