She is highly regarded in our profession and has consistently demonstrated the skill set and personal characteristics to be a valued contributor in her previous stops."

During her tenure, she contributed to the Bulldogs' participation in nine NCAA Tournaments, including appearances in 2023 and 2026. Notably, in her first season at Georgia, the team achieved 22 wins and secured an NCAA Tournament berth. Uzamere specialized in developing post players, significantly enhancing the performance of athletes such as Javyn Nicholson and Mia Woolfolk.
Prior to her time at Georgia, Uzamere was an assistant coach at the University of Central Florida (UCF) from 2016 to 2022. At UCF, she played a key role in the Knights' success, which included five postseason appearances and three NCAA Tournament bids. She was instrumental in the development of players like Brittney Smith, who earned AAC Sixth Player of the Year honors in 2021-22.
Uzamere's coaching career began at Albany, where she served as a graduate assistant and later as an assistant coach from 2012 to 2016. During her time there, Albany won four America East titles and made four NCAA Tournament appearances, including the program's first NCAA Tournament victory in 2016 against No. 5 seed Florida.

As a collegiate player, Uzamere played forward at Hofstra University from 2007 to 2011, where she was recognized as a two-time Colonial Athletic Association All-Academic player. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Hofstra and a Master of Arts in interpersonal and intercultural communication from the University of Albany.
