Bay Area groove metal band Skinlab has unveiled their cover of Hatebreed's iconic track "Last Breath." This release, produced by Ulrich Wild, showcases Skinlab's unique interpretation of the hardcore anthem, incorporating layered vocals, expanded guitar work, and a newly recorded solo. The cover marks the first studio output featuring new guitarist Angelo Miles, who joins the existing lineup of vocalist and bassist Steev Esquivel, guitarist Marcos Melina, and drummer Fabian Vestod.

"Last Breath" is a significant song within the metal genre, originally featured on Hatebreed's debut album, *Satisfaction Is The Death of Desire*. Esquivel expressed his long-standing admiration for Hatebreed, stating that the band's music has profoundly influenced Skinlab. He noted, "We've been Hatebreed fans from day one," highlighting the impact of their aggressive sound on his own musical journey.
