Rep. Ro Khanna Teases 2028 Presidential Bid

During a recent conversation with civil rights leader Al Sharpton at the National Action Network’s annual convention in New York, Representative Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) hinted at a possible presidential run in 2028. While jokingly asking Sharpton if he would be his running mate, Khanna emphasized that his current focus is on supporting House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) in his bid for Speaker of the House following the midterm elections.
