Television personality Geraldo Rivera has expressed support for a proposal to automatically register eligible men aged 18 to 25 for the Selective Service System (SSS). Rivera stated, “I like the idea. … The idea that there is a registry of kids turning 18 is a good idea,” emphasizing that a draft could only occur under severe national emergencies as determined by Congress and the President.
