Citizen Health, co-founded by Farid Vij and Nasha Fitter, aims to transform the landscape of care for rare disease patients through innovative technology. The initiative was inspired by Fitter's personal experience when her daughter was diagnosed with FOXG1 syndrome in 2017, a rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorder. Faced with a lack of information and resources, Fitter established the FOXG1 Research Foundation and later partnered with Vij to create Citizen Health in 2023.
