Itamar Ben-Gvir, National Security Minister, urged Fogel to clarify his remarks.
Fogel said he respects Trump and the importance of U.S.–Israel relations while also expressing regret for any offense.

Fogel Urges Trump

Israeli Member of Knesset Tzvika Fogel, chair of Knesset's National Security Committee, posted a tweet urging U.S. President Donald Trump to act against Iran, saying, 'Donald, if you need to shoot
shoot. Don’t quack.'
The comment coincided with U.S.–Iran tensions after Trump announced a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump said the blockade counters Iran's alleged practices and that U.S. forces will intercept vessels paying fees to Iran.
