Other roles include positions for experts in finance and nursing, who can earn approximately $100 per hour, as well as linguists specializing in Germanic and Nordic languages, earning up to $100. Additionally, individuals tasked with testing AI systems, known as "red teamers," can expect to earn between $40 and $50 per hour. LinkedIn has also introduced a notification feature to alert users about new AI training opportunities.

The entry of LinkedIn into the AI training market places it in direct competition with several rapidly growing startups, such as Mercor and Surge AI. Mercor has seen its valuation soar to $10 billion in less than a year, while Surge AI, which operates the human-expert marketplace Data Annotation, is valued at $24 billion.
