Canon has announced a series of firmware updates for its Cinema EOS camera lineup, including the EOS C400, C80, C70, C50, and R5C. The Cine-Servo 40-1200mm lens retains a maximum aperture of T5 until 560mm, after which it slows to T10.8 at the telephoto end. Notably, it introduces a native RF-mount version, enabling Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus performance on compatible Canon EOS RF-mount cameras, including the EOS C400, C80, C70, C50, and R5C.

The new lens is designed to work seamlessly with existing rigs and housings, making it suitable for professional workflows.
