Philip Spevak, a retired teacher from Coral Park Elementary School in Miami, has published his first children's book, "Pheepser’s Sunfish Shenanigan," at the age of 95. The book, inspired by a true event from his classroom in the 1970s, aims to convey the message that “the best endings are the ones we create together.” Spevak's journey began in Newark, New Jersey, during the Great Depression, and he has spent over 70 years in Miami, where he taught fifth- and sixth-grade students for 23 years. Reconnecting with Former Students
