Navy Intercepts Sevan
- U.S. Navy forces, using a helicopter from destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91), intercepted the Iranian merchant vessel M/V Sevan in the Arabian Sea after President Donald Trump's cancellation of a U.S.–Iran meeting and ordered it back to Iran.
- CENTCOM said the Sevan, one of 19 ‘shadow fleet’ tankers, is part of a blockade that has redirected 37 vessels.
- U.S. forces reported no shots fired and no injuries after the Sevan complied without resistance.
