Sony Pictures announced that it is moving forward with a feature-film adaptation of the seven-issue *Django/Zorro* comic series. Academy Award-winning screenwriter Brian Helgeland, known for *L.A. Confidential* and *Mystic River*, has been hired to write the screenplay.
