Veradermics' Oral Minoxidil Pill Shows Efficacy in Late-Stage Trial

Veradermics reported that its extended-release oral minoxidil, VDPHL01, met all primary endpoints in a six-month trial of 519 men with mild-to-moderate androgenetic alopecia. Participants received a once-daily or twice-daily dose or placebo, and VDPHL01 produced a statistically significant rise in non-vellus hair count per square centimeter versus placebo.
