The postponement follows reports that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) has withdrawn its commitment to finance LIV Golf beyond 2026. Since 2022 the PIF has contributed over $5 billion, averaging $100 million per month, and purses rose to $30 million this season. Louisiana has spent $2 million on upgrades, earmarked $3 million as a hosting fee, and expects $70 million impact. The refund amount is reported as $1 million or $1.2 million.
