Amazon MGM Studios Releases Teaser for Colleen Hoover’s “Verity”

On April 27 2024 Amazon MGM Studios released a teaser for *Verity*, the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2018 bestseller. It follows Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson), a struggling writer hired by Jeremy Crawford (Josh Hartnett) to finish the series of his incapacitated, bestselling author wife Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway). In the home, Lowen finds a hidden manuscript suggesting dark family secrets; the teaser shows Jeremy’s kiss turning violent as Verity appears, leaving Lowen with a bloody mouth.
