Katz Warns Fire

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz warned that continued defiance could ignite a fire engulfing all of Lebanon.
Israel’s army reported strikes on Hezbollah sites in the Bekaa Valley and on towns in southern Lebanon.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said direct talks aim to end conflict and called war-draggers treasonous.

Sa'ar Condemns Hezbollah

Israeli Minister Gideon Sa'ar told UN coordinator Hezbollah launched 10,000 missiles, rockets and drones since March 2 from near UNIFIL posts.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem said the group rejects talks with Israel and urges the Lebanese government to stop such negotiations.
Sa'ar argued Hezbollah’s attacks breach the ceasefire and serve Iranian, not Lebanese, interests.
He urged Lebanon to take decisive steps, including financial measures, to curb Hezbollah’s funding.
