UN Reports Executions
- The United Nations says Iran has executed at least 21 people and detained over 4,000 since the war began in February.
- Nine were linked to the January 2026 protests, ten had alleged opposition ties and two faced espionage charges.
- UN High Commissioner Volker Türk reported detainee disappearances, torture, mock executions and prison shortages of food, water and medicine, urging an end to executions, fair trials and releases.
