FDA Confirms Formula Safety
- On April 29, 2026 the FDA reported that testing of over 300 infant formula samples from 16 brands showed safety.
- Tests for lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, glyphosate, glufosinate, phthalates and PFAS found low levels, with all samples below EPA limits and 99 % pesticide-free.
- FDA food chief Kyle Diamantas said results reinforce safety, pledged to keep contaminants low, and announced that Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will hold a May round-table with formula executives.
