Notably, the spiders were observed capturing ants up to six times larger than their own prosoma, demonstrating a capacity to subdue prey considerably larger than themselves. Common household pests such as mosquitoes (family Culicidae) and houseflies (family Muscidae) were consistently targeted, suggesting a potential contribution to the regulation of urban pest populations.
