Cajun Navy Assists
- Governor Tate Reeves said storms and tornadoes on Wednesday night injured 17 people and damaged hundreds of homes in Mississippi.
- At least three tornadoes touched down, causing over 15,000 power outages statewide.
- Damage affected 275 homes, 50 apartments and 30 roads in Lamar County and over 200 homes in Lincoln County.
- The United Cajun Navy sent a shelter pod, generator and supplies while the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency assessed damage and urged insurance claims.
