Porsche's Manthey Kit Enables New Nürburgring Record for Taycan Turbo GT

In May 2026, Porsche development driver Lars Kern completed the 12.94-mile Nürburgring-Nordschleife in 6:55.553 minutes in a Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach Package and the optional Manthey Kit. The lap improves Kern’s October 2023 time by 12 seconds and beats the previous benchmark by nine; a notary certified it.

The Manthey Kit raises downforce from 209 lb to 683 lb at 124 mph and 1,631 lb at 192 mph, adding 20 kW to reach 600 kW (804 hp). Attack Mode peaks at 730 kW (978 hp). 21-inch forged wheels, wider Pirelli P ZERO Trofeo RS tires, and larger 440 mm/410 mm brake discs complete the package.
