Greek Coastguard Seizes
- Greek authorities opened a probe after fishermen found a Ukrainian-made MAGURA sea drone in a Lefkada cave on May 7, 2026.
- The coast guard towed it to Vasiliki port on May 8, where bomb-disposal removed three detonators, stopped the engine, and investigators inspected its cameras, antennas, long-range communications and Starlink terminal.
- Officials said the drone may have targeted Russian oil “shadow fleet” ships, linking it to prior attacks on the Qendil tanker (Dec 2025) and Arctic Metagaz (Mar 2026).
