Fifth Season and HarbourView Equity Partners Ink Multi-Picture Financing Deal

Fifth Season has signed a multi-picture financing agreement with HarbourView Equity Partners, a New York investment firm. The deal funds two films: *The Peasant*, a 14th-century shepherd’s revenge tale set against medieval knights and feudal India, co-written by Dev Patel and Will Dunn, directed by Dev Patel, distributed by A24; and *Nightwatching*, a winter-storm thriller about a mother defending her children from an intruder, adapted from Tracy Sierra’s novel and starring Mila Kunis, Clancy Brown and Corey Hawkins, produced with Picturestart and Scott Free Productions. HarbourView’s legal team included Liz Polk (The BALA Firm), Evie Whiting (Sidley Austin LLP) and Dan Stutz (Stutz Law Corp.).
