Clockwork Secures North American Rights to Park Chan-wook’s Western *The Brigands of Rattlecreek*

Warner Bros.’ specialty label Clockwork has secured exclusive North American distribution for *The Brigands of Rattlecreek*, a Western directed by Cannes jury president Park Chan-wook. The Cannes Market deal is valued in the mid-teen-million-dollar range. Production is slated for early 2027 with a theatrical release planned.

The script, a Black List title Park has chased for over a decade, was originally attached to Warner Bros. and Amazon. S. Craig Zahler (writer of *Bone Tomahawk*) penned the screenplay; Park performed revisions. Clockwork, a Warner Bros. unit led by former Neon executive Christian Parkes, has yet to launch a film but aims to build an auteur-driven slate, already announcing Sean Baker’s *Ti Amo!* and a re-release of Ken Russell’s *The Devils*.
