Gulshan Pahuja Sentenced
- The Delhi High Court sentenced Gulshan Pahuja, an advocate, to six months’ imprisonment and a Rs 2,000 fine in two contempt cases.
- Justices Navin Chawla and Ravinder Dudeja ordered concurrent sentences, a 60-day suspension under Section 19(3) of the Contempt of Courts Act, and required Pahuja to surrender after the suspension unless the Supreme Court stays the order.
- Amicus Curiae Advocate Harsh Prabhakar said a fine alone was inadequate and urged imprisonment.
