NFL Faces Subpoena
- The NFL will appear before Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier on June 12, 2026 after a May 13 subpoena for census data since 2017.
- Uthmeier warned the league it could face enforcement if it does not suspend the Rooney Rule, which mandates minority interviews for key jobs.
- Goodell said NFL will provide the subpoenaed data and noted the 2022 Orlando accelerator program includes non-minority participants, half of whom are white men.
