Al Jaber Expands Pipeline
- UAE’s West-East crude pipeline is about 50 % complete, ADNOC chief executive Sultan Al Jaber said.
- The line will double capacity through Fujairah and augment the Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline (ADCOP), which moves up to 1.8 million barrels daily.
- The project accelerated after Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz following U.S.–Israeli strikes on February 28, spiking oil prices.
- Al Jaber warned oil flows may need four months to reach 80 % of normal levels.
