Zach Braff on Reviving “Scrubs”: Grounding a Beloved Sitcom for 2026

Scrubs aired from 2001 to 2010, building a dedicated fan base for its mix of humor and pathos. In 2026 the series returned for a new season on Hulu and ABC/Disney. Zach Braff said the pilot was designed to “reground” the show, recapturing the tone of the first third of the original run and updating it for today’s audience.
