Hyundai Recall
- Hyundai is recalling over 421,000 2025-2026 Santa Cruz and Tucson (including Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid) vehicles because front-camera software may cause the forward-collision-avoidance system to brake unexpectedly.
- The NHTSA said the software flaw has been linked to four crashes.
- Dealers will install a free front-camera software update for affected vehicles.
- Owner notification letters will be mailed beginning July 17, 2026.
- Owners can verify status on NHTSA.gov, where VINs became searchable on May 20, 2026.
