EFL Overhauls Fees
- EFL voted at its AGM on 4 June 2026 to replace the three-window fee restriction with a single-window sanction and plan for clubs late on fees, allowing appeals and limiting the penalty to one transfer window.
- Rule covers 72 clubs in Championship, League One and League Two from the 2026/27 season.
- Rick Parry was re-elected chairman for a three-year term.
- Trevor Birch, chief executive, will leave after the 2026/27 season.
