Announcement
Star Wars Zero Company, a single-player turn-based tactics game, releases August 27, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players lead former Republic officer Hawks and a mercenary squad to capture Kundri Fathom, leader of the Infinite Coil cult, amid Clone Wars shadows, with a cameo by Jedi General Anakin Skywalker.
Development
Bit Reactor, founded by XCOM veterans, co-develops Zero Company with Respawn Entertainment. Electronic Arts publishes; Lucasfilm Games provides narrative oversight. CEO/Creative Director Greg Foertsch and Lucasfilm Games VP/GM Douglas Reilly call the project a gritty, authentic addition to the Star Wars universe.
Gameplay
Players recruit operators from eight species—Devaronian, Human, Neimoidian, Ovissian, Togruta, Twi’lek, Weequay, Zabrak—and customize voice, attire and talents. The Den serves as a base for recruitment, upgrades and intel. Allies include a Dee Bradley Baker-voiced clone trooper, a Clan Verminoth Mandalorian, and a Tognath Jedi Padawan.
Editions
Two editions launch: Standard at $49.99 (PC) / $59.99 (consoles) and Deluxe at $59.99 (PC) / $69.99 (consoles). Some sources call Deluxe digital-only; others note a physical upgrade. Both include the Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack; Deluxe adds the Grand Army uniform, Shadow Collective helmet, and five painted weapon themes.
Official Statements
Foertsch said the team “has poured everything we love about Star Wars into Zero Company.” Reilly highlighted that the game “delivers an entirely new experience… pairing cinematic storytelling with strategic gameplay.” Executives stress a tactical take on the Clone Wars.
