Cross-Border Strikes Heighten Civilian Toll in Russia’s Bryansk and Belgorod Regions

On June 11-12 2026 Ukrainian forces shelled Suzemka in Bryansk Oblast, struck a petrol station in Starodub, and used a drone that injured a five-year-old boy. A drone also hit Malinovka in Belgorod Oblast, killing a woman and wounding seven. A Grad rocket damaged 13 homes and the local administration building in Belaya Berezka, while an FPV drone attack on Klimovo injured two civilians. Russian drones then struck Sumy, killing a 44-year-old woman and wounding a 33-year-old, and hit Mykolaiv, injuring three.
