FAA Imposes Ground Stops
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) imposed ground stops at seven American Airlines hubs June 12, 2026.
- Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport saw stop from 2:32 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. generate 360 cancellations (9%) and 1,407 delays (36%), producing 90-minute delays.
- The FAA urged travelers to check status page after JFK, LGA and EWR reported delays of 93, 137 and 68 minutes, noting U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) says airlines owe no compensation for cancellations.
