UK Joins DSRB
- The United Kingdom will join the DSRB after Prime Minister Mark Carney convenes at NATO.
- Britain will contribute €1 billion over three years, €500 million less than the formula because of a G7 discount.
- The UK could fund the €1 billion via equity from its National Wealth Fund.
- The DSRB will create a AAA-rated borrowing platform that adds a defence yield curve, giving Britain influence, jobs, exports and reinforcing London’s financial-centre role.
