CBC Ends NHL
- CBC will stop broadcasting NHL games after its sublicensing agreement with Rogers Sportsnet ends at the close of the 2025-26 season.
- The NHL and Rogers have a 12-year, $11 billion deal that will carry Canadian rights beginning in October.
- CBC will keep the Hockey Night in Canada brand for other uses, announced jointly with Rogers, which bought the rights in 2013 for $5.2 billion.
