After the episode “3:00 p.m.” aired with Roxie’s off-camera death, Allen filed a self-submission for the Guest Drama Actress category, paying the Television Academy’s entry fees herself. Her submission places her among nine performers from “The Pitt,” alongside studio-backed entries.
