The July 14 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, signed in Vienna by Iran and the P5+1 (China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States) plus the EU, capped uranium enrichment at 3.67% and promised to lift nuclear-related sanctions. In return, Iran was slated to recover roughly $100 billion of frozen assets, a framework now echoed in current regional talks.
