Guillemot Dies
- Claude Guillemot, 69, Ubisoft co-founder, died on 19 June 2026 when his Cessna 421 crashed near La Baule aerodrome.
- The crash also killed the aircraft’s owner and flight instructor, the second occupant.
- Witnesses said the plane was on landing approach, turned, struck a field and ignited, burning 500 sq m.
- Sixty firefighters, 30 emergency vehicles and 63 personnel responded to the crash.
- Ubisoft announced flags at half-mast and said French authorities opened an investigation.
