Quentin Tarantino, director of “Kill Bill,” will act in a new feature directed by Welsh filmmaker Jamie Adams. The untitled film pairs Tarantino with pop star Kylie Minogue and a Welsh supporting cast. Filming occurred in Porthcawl, Wales, where a funeral at Newton Church and a wake at the Saltwater Inn were shot over a weekend.

Adams, known for a Nouvelle Vague-inspired improvisational style, previously worked with Tarantino on “Only What We Carry,” which premiered at Tribeca earlier this month. That film, starring Simon Pegg and Charlotte Gainsbourg, was shot in six days in Deauville, France, and backed by a French production company. Adams emphasizes organic, on-the-spot storytelling.
