Utah's Newly Blue 1st Congressional District Sparks Historic Democratic Primary

A court-ordered mid-decade redistricting, ending a gerrymandering lawsuit, reshaped Utah’s four districts. The new 1st District, rated +12 Democratic by the Cook Report, merges Salt Lake City and its Democratic-leaning suburbs into a reliably blue seat.
