Swapmeet Announces Global Tour Ahead of Debut Album “Mount Zero”

Swapmeet, the Adelaide-based four-piece indie rock band, announced a world tour spanning Australia, North America, Europe and the United Kingdom. The itinerary opens with four Australian headline shows—Adelaide (Sept 4), Sydney (Sept 5), Brisbane (Sept 11) and Melbourne (Sept 18)—then moves to U.S. and Canadian clubs in October before concluding with European dates and Pitchfork Music Festival slots in Paris, London and other cities through mid-November. The tour announcement coincides with the release of the new single “Halfway,” described as the final preview of their forthcoming debut album.

Swapmeet rose to national attention in the past 18 months with singles “I Know!,” “Sand,” and “2 C U,” and a reputation for swapping instruments onstage. The band has been described as one of Australia’s most talked-about emerging acts. They signed with Winspear, which will release their debut album “Mount Zero” on July 17. The world tour comprises 25 shows across five continents, including club dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Toronto and Montreal, as well as festival appearances at Pitchfork Music Festival (Paris, Brighton, London) and additional gigs in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. Australian dates will feature support from Dogworld.

Swapmeet said “Halfway” examines early confrontations with change, loss and the sense that each decision may feel mistaken, reflecting the album’s focus on personal transition. Guitarist Maxwell Elphick explained that the title “Mount Zero” comes from a recurring road sign that symbolizes places observed but never fully experienced, mirroring the band’s itinerant lifestyle.

“Mount Zero” drops on July 17 via Winspear. After the tour, Swapmeet will appear at Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris (Nov 5) and London (Nov 7) and will play additional shows in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin, extending their 2026 international push.
