Brynjolfsson Launches Dashboard
- Erik Brynjolfsson and ADP Research launched the Canaries Dashboard, using payroll data for 4.6 million U.S. workers in 730+ occupations.
- AI-exposed jobs fell 0.2% YoY while low-exposure jobs rose 0.1%, with workers ages 22-25 in AI-exposed roles losing 3.8% annually, accelerating to over 4% after April 2024.
- ADP chief economist Nela Richardson said AI first automates entry tasks, noting that workers ages 31-34 in AI-exposed occupations declined 1.7% YoY and those ages 35-40 grew 2%.
